If the seller was so confident there'd be more than just pictures of the front end too.

If it's that good, show us.
My first thought, £20k car being advertised in a £3.5k autotrader manner. Cant have it both ways.
But he's been 'unindated' with calls?

I'm assuming from people asking why he's asking £20k for a stty old fiesta.

I could be out of touch here, maybe it is market value these days but someone is asking 6k for a 1990 318 that looks very unloved, the paint is really flat and there were bits of trim hanging off the front bumper. Seems a strong price considering the owner doesn't show it any love.

318iS maybe? Rare little cars if it is but still top money though.

Looks pretty tidy in this, I have to say. https://www.flickr.com/photos/dscn8785/13933295288

Terrible ad, but I guess they're pretty desirable now. Bear in mind the ridiculous 205GTi prices recently...

They would have to pay me to take away a car with those awful replica Alpina wheels. Just don't understand why people think they look good on E30s

Are they replicas? I know Alpina did do varios versions of the E30 so there will be genuine Alpina alloys that fit.

My money would be on it being a 318iS which do command a higher value than a 318i

These are real ones, correct number of spokes, 16" and with proper locking mechanism:

No, just spent too long trying to lock and unlock them biggrin But I do think any replica ones I've seen are awful looking, and generally not a good sign as to the condition of an E30

All depends on how much you want the car as to how overpriced they are. Someone will buy it.
Indeed, someone will. however, the rest of us would love to know a) how long has it been there, with attendant costs and b) what did it actually sell for ? Now, there's a chance for young thrusters out there: a car web like Zoopla or Right Move. Oh! That would provide much pub-bore material too.

Yes, some punters out there are daft, but not very daft
