Hey all,
I have a bit of dilemma and was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm 19 (soon to be 20) and am on the hunt for another car..even though I've been driving for just 2 years I've managed to get through 5 cars (classic mini, 2005 A3, mk4 golf, mk3 golf, bmw e36) and am on the hunt for a 6th. Due to the fact I commute 2 hours a day plus regularly travel up and down country I need something robust and comfy. I loved my A3 so am looking at another one (possibly the 2.0 tfsi) but they seem to be pretty expensive...due to the fact I refuse to take out finance or a loan my budget is £7000...anyone got any other suggestions? I prefer the 3 door/coupe bodystyles but I am open to ideas. I've just qualified as an Auto tech so maintenance costs are not really a worry.
Cheers all

What sort of age?
Why not an E39 540i/E38 740i?
Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8 (Overland iirc)
Surely you could get an E60 535d for that sort of money?
Merc CLS not float your boat?

Hope that helps,

If i had £7000 I would prob get a Scooby STI or something.

Cheers for all the suggestions...Im really not fussed with age or really thst bothered about fuel comsumption (my e36 was doing 22mpg so anything above that is a bonus!!!! I'd never even thought about the 535d or the cls, I've always loved driving 530d's when I've had the opportunity.
I would like a Scooby, but after being in a friends for long distance I found it a little to uncomfortable
Thanks again
