Luckily I read this before I was just about to throw away the receipt.

They don't actually seem to enforce that. I've had things replaced without the receipt. smile

I did wonder seeing as half the stuff in the box has halfords write on it.

I picked mine up today, and the quality looks superb ! Makes me want to go and rip an engine apart now !

One criticism, the clips on the front of the case that hold it closed seem a bit flimsy, one fell off the 1st time I tried to open the case. Still, for £59.99, I'm over the moon !
My clips were OK but it took me 15 minutes to work out it has plastic clips on either end before I could open it. redface
I think my feminine side came out with this purchase, I don't need it but it was a bargain price so I thought wtf. Anyway It'll be handy as a near enough complete tool set to keep in one of my classic cars when I take them out.

Was tempted but I'll get the bigger set.

My brother snagged the industrial chest and draw set the other day. Seems a cock up happened and they gave the more expensive unit free (swapped them over now online) and he had 10% off on the lunch time discount. £649 normally he paid £269 even taking over inflated rrp Into consideration its a good deal.

The sale pricing is a huge con. One example being the 6 drawer tool chest. yesterday it was £100. Today it is £120 (in the sale) BUT you get an extra 10% off which still puts it at £108.

I'm struggling to work out the con. You still pay monies and receive a product in return, no?

The annual £12 4l tubs of oil deal is on now as well... Nice bonus if your car takes 7.5l of fully synth like mine. Stocked up for the year, happy days!
