M cars are daily use cars - that's part of their design brief. They aren't sports cars. I would have thought your M5 was ideal.

It is. I can relate to what the OP means though, things lose their specialness if you use them every day. Having something else to provide some variation has worked for me.
I think that depends on the person and the car. My Elise still feels special to me despite the fact I've used it to commute for the last eight years.

I'm in the exact same boat, cars too good to use daily but not purposeful enough for pure weekend duties.

And the suspension is taking a royal beating. That's Sheffield for you.

Well yes. I suppose a very low and analogue sports car could only ever feel so 'normal'. The M's and AMG's of this world being based on normal cars work against them in this way but at the same time, it's also the appeal in getting one in the first place.

Agree on Sheffield roads, I've got some soft alloys on mine that'll be 50p's soon. I'd just run the M5 as is, then either take the hit when you move it on, or restore to former glory.

Must be a rough part of town to have it kicked in!

My M3 is not special enough for a weekend car. I doubt any M Division car is....

The best daily driver I have had. I commute every working day in it, always take the wife's SAAB when we are together on weekends.

Having a kid etc and needing an estate for Christmas stuff etc it helps!

It's like driving through the 3rd world. I'm glad I only work there rather than live there like I used to!

Just parked up in the city centre.
