Peugeot 205.

The boot, or something squeaks like a gerbil that has guzzled a wrap of cocaine.

Porsche Cayman (in)famous trunk clunk the fixing of which involves disassembling the entire tailgate, some of the rear speakers & drilling holes in order to fit two foam washers.

Clunk, clunk, clunk...arrgggh.

VX220 - The passenger door pin works loose over a couple of weeks and starts rattling the door. Needs screwing up every now and then...

Hardtop squeaks over bumps, windows rattle over bumps when they are open. The previous owner's solution was a sports exhaust to drown out the noise hehe

Chrysler Delta

For some reason, all standard garages don't have the correct equipment to reset warning lights/service intervals (presumably because it's a foreign Lancia in all but name) so I'm going to have to take it to a dealer for services/repairs whenever a warning light is involved.

Oh...and more of a design fault...but the right indicator will click off when you initially turn left (eg when indicating right at a roundabout but initially turn slightly to the left to enter said roundabout.

2000 Polo 1.4

Passenger speaker has blown so all of my music sounds ruined.
Electric windows rarely do as they are told
Alloys curbed to st and I have a slow air leak because of it (previous owner)
ABS light constanty on due to a sensor
Leaks when it wants
Boot light doesn't work
One cloudy headlight and one clear one.

The list goes on, but its my first car so I still believe it to be the best and fastest car ever in the world laugh

B7 RS4. Get the ESP and traction control lights flicking up on the dash with annoying regularity. Never anything actually wrong, its a slightly duff sensor, but it always makes me panic.

That said the engine warning light has just switched on.

Damn it.

Fiat Grande Punto T-Jet.

The bonnet release is pathetic and doesn't "pop" so it gets yanked and the handle gets snapped.

The Radio only works when the engine is off, when it's on I get static.

The blow in the exhaust makes me sound like a chav, but only when I pull away.

The boost gauge doesn't light up.

There's no boot release button on the car, just inside or on the key, funny watching people try and open it when it's in for work or when it's cleaned.

The factory sub in the boot rattles when I go over bumps, and I don't have a socket extension long enough to fit into the hole to tighten it up.

There's no spare wheel.

But it's mine, and I love it.

"tyre pressure not monitored" message and warning beep after about 30 minutes every journey (after market wheels fitted so no sensors). I have been meaning to get that fixed since I bought it nearly 3 years ago!

Front parking sensor's don't always work, so i switch the system off when i start it up now as it throws an error message and stops the full system working.

Sensor's are silly prices and i would need to remove the A bar, headlight guards, headlight's, grill, bumper, front arch liners to get to the loom and sensor's. Which i can't be bothered to do.

My plan is to buy a winch and winch mount which means i will have to get the front's disabled so they will never work again.

Problem solved. biggrin

Impreza STI. Developed a rattle from passenger door, spent weekend removing said door trim and sorting door speaker.

Put it all back together and now the rattle appears to have 'moved' to the glovebox area. Bloody hell.

The bulb for the A/C button on my '08 Ka intermittently works - the A/C has always worked, but the LED bulb for the button died when the car was about 2 years old. The only way to fix is remove the control panel from the dashboard, and either replace the unit (£300+ from Ford) or solder a new LED myself. Either way, can't be bothered with that for one little light.

My 350Z starts itself, randomly at night, the engine comes on and idles for several hours.

Well, its just a theory, to explain the fuel consumption as the simple act of driving it should not use that much fuel unless it is doing some kind of Vertical Take off.

Other than that the cd player skips and if you open the window when its been raining it deposits a pint of rainwater down the door card.
