Golf vs Stilo styling

It's not really fair though, is it. The Golf hasn't really changed since the Neolithic era, so who's to say that Fiat Centro Stile didn't copy that?

It's ironic really that the Fiat was criticised when it first came out for looking a too German. Looking at them now they appear to have aged well and appear easier on the eye now than they did when new, perhaps this is because some of the subsequent designs have been that dyer.

You may also consider it somewhat ironic that people say all German cars look bland and such like but the fact is there are fewer designers out there than you may think and quite a few of the worlds best car designers don't work exclusively for one company.

Not from that angle no, but from some angles the resemblance is certainly there, like I said the thought occured to me as soon as I saw one, long before this thread started.
