Another vintage year of Shed. Can't help but think that a visit by the ghost of shed future to a Mercedes showroom in 1993 might have left a very well heeled chap or chapess white as a sheet with the thought that their lovely lux machine would oneday be available for a bag of sand. xmas

The 300 CE SOTW from August is still going strong, done around 6k miles in her since then, not missed a beat and apart from two bulbs and a litre of oil I've not had to spend a penny on it bar some paint and consumables when first purchased.
About ready to move her on though as I've moved sites at work and no longer lift share so the low 20s mpg is crippling me doing around 500 miles a week!

Some excellent sheds there. Like others I always look forward to Shed - one of the best things I read all week. Always looked forward to with a glass of wine in a Friday night and then the arguing that ensues below it. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Anyone else think "Oh, its Friday morning, best check what the SOTW is" ?

We used to do Car of the Week at work, me and a colleague, basically whatever I was thinking of buying at that specific moment, usually lasted a week.
Couldnt agree more great year of shedding ;-)

Thanks Shed and Pistonheads for your wonderful weekly blog/article. SOTW has to be the highlight of every Piston-header's week. I totally love it.

As an expat it makes me homesick to see all these cut price beasts. I keep telling myself that one day I'll retire back to UK and enjoy shedding in my golden years.

My Shed of the year would probably have been that BMW 740 or that wonderful Mercedes SEC.

Was I alone in rather liking the alfa 145 cloverleaf. Given some of the tat BL, ragged BMW's and jap toy cars dressed as Jaguars I think it seems rather harsh to single the alfa out

Agreed. I quite liked the Alfa too.

Shed is fantastic, not only for the cars featured, but by the lovely, witty, laughs-often-at-mrs-shed's-expense writing style which often reminds me of the old Janet & John stories on Terry Wogan in the day.

Keep up the good work in 2015 and looking forward to many more sheds...

Is there a page or wiki with all the links to the sheds on?

I love Shed of the Week. My Vectra shed continues to surprise and delight me - just clicked through 144k miles, runs beautifully bar the odd suspension clunk, and returned 860 miles to a tank at 69.8 mpg in October after some gentle Autobahn work between Frankfurt and Basel.
Everybody should try shedding, it's enlightening.
