I could only perhaps assume that the skoda barrel rolled onto the vauxhall, which would explain the side damage to the skoda and the relative lack of damage to all but the windscreen of the vauxhall
Thats what I thought, the damage to the 4x4 isnt commensurate with the damage to the old car.Incident location

The other picture (in the ledbury reporter link) shows a bit more damage to front of the Vauxhall.
I suspect the Vauxhall was crossing the main road, has T-boned the Yeti which may have braked to a fairly low speed at the time of impact, causing the Yeti to half roll on top of him. Low impact points on the Yeti's doors appear to match up to the front suspension/axle of the Vauxhall. High CoG in faux off roader making roll easier to perform.
Crumpled nicely did'nt it?

Looks more like the Yeti was crossing the road - offside damage to the vauxhall vs nearside damage to the yeti. I read it as the Yeti was turning right or even just crossing over, did it wrong and ended up on the roof of the vauxhall. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&...
