Well almost like-for-like.

( when I clicked 'Forum size when' uploading via thumbsnap picture seemed too big - this seems too small?)

I have a pal who tried to get into the wrong Ferrari 360 in a lineup of three under a London Hotel, all in Grigio Alloy (the pale blue-silver that was in the 360 brochure. I also know someone in the USA who at some garden centre in the middle of nowhere parked next to another magnolia Rolls Royce Corniche III, differing only in interior colour. The other guy said, hey, has there been a fire sale on these things? More recently someone I know ended up in a 2 Mercedes C63 Edition 507 situation, identical in every way as far as I could determine.

When you park in Tesco and come back wondering why your car won't unlock hehe ... (Sweary words) https://youtu.be/zGjFOLdpf1k
I've sort of done that at Stansted (also with a Golf), but my excuse was that all the cars were covered in snow - at least I was facing the right way to see the hazards flash on mine.

I am not sure what excuse I can offer for getting in the wrong Mk1 Escort outside a pub once - in the good old days when the chances of your keys fitting in another Escort were about 1 in 6. If there hadn't been a bag on the passenger seat I might have tried to start it!

Also, when I had a Mk2 Escort (I know - I had a Mk3 next - how boring was I) Harrier in white I managed to park next to one once. There were only 1,000 made.

Guilty as charged, after driving from London to Paris we picked up a mate and headed straight to Montmatre. We round the corner & lo and behold another one, I had to park next to it : )

I do miss this car frown

This has happened to me from time to time, last time it was a brand new 991 Targa next to my 9972 coupe, but next time I'll remember to take a picture...

I never park "next" to any car if I can help it but the day I picked up my M135i, I placed it next to an M235i on purpose.

I didn't spot it at first, but if you look very closely, the Mondeo is wearing a 3 pointed star on the bonnet. I'm guessing that's laugh out load funny to someone.

And another Viper meet.

My black '12 Mustang, my old Roush 427 and a mates GT500.

An everyday occurrence. The Mrs and my S60's.

I'm guilty of it every time I go home

But I have been known to park alongside someone else's same model car just for a nerdy chortle and even one that was three letters away from my own registration, despite them both being from a dealer 100 miles away.

I love the C63, but that seems completely pointless to me?!? Is there a back story as to why anyone would have two of the same cars in the same colour? confused

Seriously, how many people are doing this wrong! It's not that hard a concept to grasp, surely?!

"Same Model" -> check

"Parked Next to each other" -> check

All good to me ;-)
