It's obviously an international phenomenon. I think there needs to be a study into the psychology behind this.

Yep...I agree. Bad parking seems to be a problem everywhere even when you give the driver a massive space.

From a few years ago when I was an Impreza owner, as were two of my brothers who also happen to be my neighbours. The black one belongs to a friend who was visiting. I only ever bought my V5 Type R as a stop gap for a few months. This turned into 3 years of ownership as I enjoyed it so much.
