Don't suppose anyone knows how I can get WA05WTH looks like it hasn't been issued (I think) can I approach DVLA and ask to buy an un issued number?

I think you can request it's put to auction, you then obviously have to be the highest bidder.

whatever someone is willing to pay smile
it has £0 commercial value, relies on someone having an unlikely nickname and not minding a plate which is close but not really the nickname!

if the OP offers you some money, take it - free money!

Needs to be more than 'some'. There are fees to DVLA to pay, new plates to have made up, insurers to contact.

I see a problem here. Any value has just increased due to her wife it.

Clever play.

The obvious solution is staring you in the face! Buy her a Land Rover Discovery in silver, clone the plate and off you go. Has the added advantage of speeding fines going to the bewildered owner.

* don't actually do this

edit: I should've probably read the thread in full.

Why not this if it's going on a red car?

These guys will even do it for less!
Actually yes, it is a red car but the PNK part completes what I'm looking for.

Hi Nick

Ok, I'll bite. Despite being a dyed in the wool cynic about things being too good to be true I'm trying to look on the positive side here.

So, email me a pic of car and plate and what value you're thinking of and we'll go from there.

cheers
Paul
