Each to their own,I think it looks good very aggressive,
would like 2 get 1 when the crazy depreciation kicks in.i think they will be close to a £100k specced up i reckon they could lose £40k within the year.

I think it looks like it'll be driven by people who are quite aggressive, if that's the same thing?

Thats like saying people who drive a c63 black series are aggressive. Just because a car looks aggressive does'nt mean the owner is.

I don't mind it actually, no more offensive than a Q7 or a Continental GT. I wouldn't buy one myself but I'm glad that cars like this exist; lots of variety and plenty of power for those that want it - long may it continue.

That really is a monstrocity, even compared to the X6.

It'll sell faster than they can make them.
I completely agree smile

Ok, I'm going to back you up on this. I think it looks pretty good, not sure why there is so much hate for it. Better proportions than an X6, and I bet it will look great on the road.

It like something from 2015, unlike much of the usual run of the mill stuff.

Try six months if it looks as bad in the metal as it does in those photo's.

Depressing. MB have just thrown all semblance of good taste out of the window.

Even common E220 CDIs have an enormous star on the front, so restrained.

I like to think my late mk1 CLS is the last throes of decent taste in design at MB.

Looks very current! Not sure about shooting anyone who buys one is on!
Literally hundreds of RRS FFRR Cayennes,Q5s,X5,6,4,3 ect on the road near where I live. It'll be refreshing to see a couple of these too!
I don't get why every car should be beautiful. A car should look purposeful. This one does IMO.
If you don't like/agree with this style of vehicle none of the manufacturers are going to ever design one you like!
Save beauty for the missus!

Merc make some fugly cars these days. Looks like something the Koreans would have made 20 years ago.

Is there a contest at the minute in the motoring industry to make THE most fking hideous car of the century? Anyone who buys one of these is a dhead IMO. Unless you can give me a fking good reason otherwise.

On a 2-lane slip road entering the motorway, went past an X6M. Driver then proceeds to try to catch up with me (i'm in a Lexus RX350 - perhaps the most soft-willy and unaggressive car on the road) by overtaking a car in the inside lane, on the shoulder. He then got level with me, stared at me, and then dropped back. Had another incident where I flashed an X6M for some reason or another, and the bloke stopped the car as I turned onto a side street to go home.
Of course, these are 2 X6Ms out of 100s that I've seen over the years, but those drivers who have X6Ms, that are wkers, are Proper proper wkers

I think the BMW X4/5/6 look good from the front, though the rear is less well-resolved in the "coupe" variants. They are Jag E-types compared to this Moby-Dick-esque creation however

Agreed, sort of. Think the Turbo v N/A thing is more to do with EU bureaucrats interfering in emission levels though.

I think a lot of the response to the design of this car is sheepish. The car's proportions are correct and it looks to have a sense of quality about it.

I'm not a fan of crossovers but I would take this over a BMW.

It looks better in the metal, honest! Not subtle, mind, but better resolved than the X6, especially an X6 with those weird roof rails...
