Yes, especially when a manufacturer like Porsche cant seem to deliver on engine reliability and there are still a shedload of people on a waiting list. Still, we'll see Porsche vs Honda in F1 this year......oh.
Are we actually talking about engine reliability for an entire brand over a mere 6 cars that had related problems..?

I like it. I also like the fact it's not from an obvious marque... Also whilst it looks a little plain in the motorshow surroundings I'm sure it will be very cool on the road. I love Porsche, fantastic cars but I'd pick this over a 911 if I were in the position (which I am not!)

That said I'd still call it a Honda!

Here's hoping it sounds good!
A small clue as to what it might be like (hard to know how well the sound was captured, and it's probably not quite in final spec yet), try at ~20s in, in the video here http://vtec.net/articles/view-article?article_id=1....

Anyone think that red is the wrong colour for it to be premiered in? I'm aware it is a Honda colour but it looks a bit crass and tacky - hopefully in other shows/countries they'll try something else. Maybe the bright lights don't help but it seems very glossy/shiny? I know some of it is Honda 'design language' but from the side it reminds me of a squashed FN2 Civic.

Surely can't be a Honda as the redline is at 7500

Thanks if you can assist

I keep hearing to much like an 'R8' , I personally think the R8 is a great car so its no insult but I really think you need to go to spec-savers if you think these two look alike ?!!!

I think it's crazy people are passing judgement before getting behind the wheel of this car. I highly doubt it will disappoint. I personally think it looks great, times have moved on, If they produced a car that looked like an updated version of the old NSX people would complain. I look forward to the road tests and proper reviews.

NSX Looks dull. Not totally convinced on the Ford GT, the design doesn't seem to flow very well.
Agree it looks dull reminds me of an R8 or something. If I shell out £100k+ on a car I want it to look pretty mental and unique this design just does not do it for me looks very generic and well boring.

Sure it will be a fantastic car to drive but think in this category most of the cars drive far above the average drivers talents and as such the styling goes a very long way in getting cars sold.
Not a huge surprise to look at your profile and see you are 22. Have you considered some may not want to flaunt their wealth by having a car that looks 'mental'?

In reality many people do buy cars in order to improve perceived status. This will harm the NSX as, outside of Pistonheads, your average person won't be impressed unless you show them your Porsche or Ferrari key. I think it's a joke that people are accusing this car of looking 'dull' though.

On paper the car sounds amazing, and it needs to be in order to overcome the prejudices that will face it. I think it would have to be widely recognised as a world beater before it to face the same supply/demand issue as, say, the GT3 or GT4. As such, happy to wait for the reviews before i put down a deposit.
