"base-model W12"

Those three words alone are enough to make me love Bentley forever, and forgive them anything.

I think it's a glorious triumph of passion over sense, and I applaud it wholeheartedly.

This.

But
re-style that disgracefully stuck on rear wing
lose the sad stickers (not against in yer face graphics - but these are a sad excuse for a graphic)
Change the alloy design

And not in white...darker shades would suit the demonic nature...

I really don't get it, the original is not that bad, but it is not a sports car and putting stickers and vents and wings won't change that...

...It is nowhere near the class or style one should expect in a Bentley.

Bentley have lost what made them special imo. They just seem too chavvy and vulgar shoot

Are they going to Le Mans this year?

The Bentley used to win in 2003 was a close variant of the audi r8c,this one is at least true to it's roadcar roots.

W O Bentley will be spinning in his grave.
Possibly, but I suspect Tim Birkin will be having a wry smile!
Fast, more focused Bentley = good
Bentley with chav tat stickers and interior = not good
85 years ago there were probably people complaining about the graphics and all the extra interior bits and pieces added to this.

If I had the funds, I'd cop one (used though - depreciation's a bh with the new cars!). biggrin

I'd employ numerous chauffeurs too - no sense in losing my licence. wink

Oh dear it's tacky, crass and will be bought by footballers who will no doubt make it even more bling and distasteful....

So why do I love it ?!

That's pretty ghastly, although I'm sure they'll sell tons to ghastly folk. Also, isn't this pretty much the same engine as the Audi RS6? I know which I'd rather have. rofl

Even at this level, it still seems to come across as just another generic 'Euro blob motor' especially from the front view. Can anyone else identify with this ?

What's not to like?
It won't do anything near 22mpg so its not impressive at all.

The only ones which will stay in the UK will be driven by premiership footballers.
Not this load of old st again, Premiership teams must be running squads of thousands judging by the number of Bentleys I see around.

OK, so who crashed the new Conti into Halfords?

For all of it's tack, it's might rules. I'd have one....but only if I already had a proper Bentley and fleet of other cars - it would never be someone's first or only Bentley.

The price and the looks?
The weight, the stickers, the interior green trim, the footballer image.

So wrong.

Just noticed from the photos, (lose the grille) & the front of the Bentley looks like the arse of a GTR.

GT3 is perhaps not the best name for a >2 ton car.
