All 240 Performance Pack cars had variable traction control.

All 2006 cars with Sports Pack had std traction control.

Have you had a Lotus before? Assuming you still have the 928(s?) I would think the Exige would complement your garage a bit better. smile

You should do this, I bought my Sprint through Ben 3 and a half years ago, put 10,000 miles on it and suffered the grant total of £300ish in depreciation . He's not quite accurate on the mimimal upkeep bit though; it's true service costs are not much but once the modification bug bites you can easily spend loads of money!

I might also point out that you can get a brand spanking new V6 exige for c30k down at the moment...

I hate to say it, but there's no way I'd buy a GT3 in today's market, as much as I think it's a far superior car to the Exige. The market is just too overheated at the moment for me, when the bubble bursts I don't want to be the one stood in the middle of it.

Only slightly related, an '88 SSE 911 coupe in gun metal grey just passed me not 10 minutes ago, god it sounded and looked good! Looked like it might have been a garage queen out for a first blast of the year but how much would it be worth today? Hopefully it matters not for the owner, but I'd hate to be the person paying £50k+ on it for it to be back worth £25k in a couple of years.

I always said the bubble will only burst once new cars are being sold at daft premiums, with Porsches new GT cars I can see that coming very soon.....

All very well Ben, thanks! Too right, I'm super excited already. Aimee reckons it will be with her week 14 but I've asked her to add some more bling so hopefully collecting mid-April. Hopefully...

A mate took me out in his rather nice old Saab 9-5 Aero a while back, it has nearly 390bhp and was startlingly quick especially in the midrange!
Apparently 300bhp is less than a grand and you can buy a belter for £2500, I reckon I might've found the next Scouse Q-Car....

Here's his 9-5, the Suspension drop and Hirsch alloys give it a purposeful look.....

390bhp and FWD? Sounds like a straight line hero to me. Bear in mind that the £2500 it costs to tune it to 390bhp would buy you a 370bhp XJR.
