Quite possibly pricey, but I think they're getting even better looking with age. Love that colour too. So lately I have been thinking of getting a 'keeper' from my year of birth (no, not 1926) to use as a bit of a daily driver seeing as I don't have a commute to contend/deal with.
A few things have crossed my mind but 1979 is a tricky year I think. However, seeing as a tweaked '68 MGB GT has just been added to the family fleet in the last few days that got me thinking to something similar which then led me to something I have fancied for a long time now; a Midget. And no, none of those jokes thanks
Spookily the one that caught my eye this evening is being sold by a good friend of mine that I bought the since sold '66 MGB GT from and thus am meeting him for a beer next week.
I know that the rubber bumpered cars get a somewhat mixed review but imho as the years go on they are ageing rather well and certainly a safe place to put money.....
But tempted as time goes on to make it look like this......
And tweak and uprate as time goes by and just generally have fun with it and maybe do this sort of thing with it too.....

I thoroughly expect it to be 'wasted' on the Thread but I do rather think that as a daily driver it would suit me down to the ground :flatcap:

I've just sat in my mum's partner's 14 plate Civic tourer. When did a bloody Civic get so much kit?! The thing is like the space shuttle. This is a 70 year old that needs (repeated) help with anything computer related so I'm not sure how he's going to cope.
don't go near anything from Citroen then, it's like walking into a branch of DixonsCracking looking Griff.
Thing is, for the same money in the 'also viewed' is:
