The issue is that while that could be a fantastic car and these mercs are built to do many times these miles without worry, if you ever want to sell it on again you need a buyer who can see that. And there are lower mile examples for a few £k more.
Having a £3k SL to do these miles instead is just looking like common sense. In 3-5 yrs the car will be worth double the money and a slow planned programme of refreshing over a timeframe will eradicate the 200,000 mile issue.
Cut price V6 Exige S anyone?

It's amazing the time and money some people blow on making a track car and then only do a handful of track days! He probably baulks at the cost of hiring a Caterham for a day while spending £15k at a motorsport outfit, only to do 4 track days and park the car up.Running the same engine and SC'd too

So it probably needs £2-4k of body restoration. Still, it would be one hell of a little retro rocket.

That's a rather niche spec.I never really bonded with my Evo. Preferred my 328s.

What are the production numbers for the E30/E36/E46? Values will be determined by supply and demand, and I suspect there were more E36s made compared to E30 as it was the second generation of the M3 brand and very usable indeed as an everyday car.
Many more made, but then the attrition/barry rate is far higher too. E36 3.0 is the one to buy, much rarer than the 3.2.
