Of the RHD cars, an Evo with decent spec will be the one to have (ignoring the Imola cars).

This has to be one of the most thread sales I can recall.

I think almost every fetish is covered.

I am absolutely not, in any way, registered for that. Not me. Nope.

Not much is really jumping out at me in that auction tbh, the Barchetta could be interesting if it's cheap enough and the Williams looks okay.

Be interesting to see if the written off and repaired 560 SEC with 140k makes up to £5k.

Is it just me or are used car prices holding firm?

Having been following stuff like S4 avant, 330/5 touring, cayenne, touareg, etc and there's no real softening in prices.

£5-10k German stuff hasn't gone anywhere for quite a while. Where's my choice of decent £5k CLSs or a £3.5k 130i? How Audi A3 3.2s are still commanding as much as they do is anyone's guess.

All the good value £10-15k cars vanished in March.

Those totals include LHD North American M3s, cmoose quoted Euro spec LHD & RHD numbers. NA M3 3.0s feature the 240PS 3.0 version of the S50 and there were also some RHD Saffa ones built up from kits (to get around import taxes IIRC).

Thanks.

It wasn't as perfect as I had hoped, but it's an example worthy of sympathetic restoration. Has genuinely been in the same family all it's life, with paperwork to support servicing at the local Peugeot dealer for 22 years!

It's in the garage today for a cylinder head overhaul and cambelt renewal. Then it will be off to the bodyshop to tidy up the tailgate and drivers door, before refurb of steelies and a spot of home detailing.

I can't wait to errr... Drive it.

That's generous. I'd call it a 240PS 3.0 version of the M52.

It interests me to see whether most of those cars make anywhere near their estimates. As said, there's nothing cheap listed, so I'm interested to see whether the market is where they think it is.

There was an S52 for NA too, 3.2l but power unchanged at 240PS when in Europe the 3.0 (S50 B30) became the Evo (S50 B32), non?

All befuddling, the main point being that it was fairer to compare the relative rarities of ECE spec M3s rather than the overall totals which included the Septic anomalies.
