I think it's because we're all a bit older on here, and it's our push-back against "youth" who take off orange and put on clear - ginger is older therefore better. It's how they used to look, and we like how things used to be.

Now where did I leave my slippers and pipe.

One of my cars has chrome around the windows. Can we all decide this is now retro cool again in the same spirit of gingerness. Thanks

I've not long turned 25 and yet ginger is the only way forward.

Must admit I far prefer the MV1's over the 2's. Not as modern I grant you, but to me they just look right.

Unfortunately they give a terrible ride which compromises an otherwise lovely car. We had to get rid of our 330i Sport touring, it simply couldn't handle country lanes.
