ON the subject of wrong.

How about some rusty mfi'd pork for 100 bags?

Having now read the text, it is a genuine one owner car, 55k and almost totally original.

So an refreshed donkey and box - £30k, body and paint - £20k? Other bits, £10k.

Purchase for £80-90k and carry out the above and you'd have something pretty special.
yes

It's an automatic though.

So to turn it into something the "purist" would want to drive, you'd have to fk about with the originality anyway. I'd just MOT it and wallow in the patina.

Well, I would for £15k anyway. Not a frigging ton.

Spent a lot of today debating with some friends whether we would have a Sierra Cosworth or a Lotus Carlton, when someone posted a link to the below. Looks lovely, but 39k? Last time I looked they were around 15-20, what happened there then?

(My vote was for the Carlton, naturally).

No. I had a price in mind and it wasn't enough. Also just had a bit of a shocker with some expensive parts for one of the other cars. Plus wife wants a T25 camper so I need to allocate budget so I retain snatch access.

Happy to help.

These will go mad soon. 1.3l 90s engine that makes it's money at 7k rpm, no PAS, no weight, no bull.

Just a stonker of a car.

Just showed that to my colleague. He had a black '73 2.7mfi carrera. Sold it 10 years ago when he moved to
Germany for £25k.

Currently crying into his keyboard.

Dickie Meaden is having his S2 refreshed & uprated so will be great to keep tabs on that one.
