Don't think they're 997 wheels - either Boxster or Cayman IIRC.

997 winter wheel, iirc they are the same design as a boxster, but are a different offset.
Yes, but wasn't there a mix-up? Maybe it was after he returned.

Have I missed something in the weird world of 911's in that someone thinks a rotten shed is worth 100 k

Is this some amazing rare one off ?

Why is it any different to all the other 1000's out there ?

And then it clearly needs another 50 k on it. Wow.

Fairly rare, mechanical-injection 2.7 (like the RS) in the new body style.

One of these rumbled past me as I was out on foot today. It looked small, sleek and pretty good.
Whats the consensus?

Ref XKR;

I really rather like them as long as they are in the right wheel/ride height combo. A tweaked one could be a hoot for not a lot of money driving

Couldn't get a pic for obvious reasons, but as I drove south on the M1 this afternoon, a car transporter passed going northbound. An unremarkable tale so far, but this truck was loaded with half a dozen Aston Martin Lagondas, in varying hues.

A literal truck load of bork. Magnificent.

For a design that is 20 years old I think they are absolutely stunning.

Jaguar seem to have the knack of designing cars that (mostly) age really well.

I think the XK is lovely, and they're cheap performance cars. I really want an XJS, but I suspect I could very easily be tempted into an XK.

Bit of a curiosity. Low mileage, manual, colour change.

Both lovely.

In car news, I've gone shedding for a car than I'm actually happy to put bikes on/In.

£470 of the newest car I've ever owned.. It's alright.

This has been for sale for a while, but looks great from the ad. Anything wrong that I'm not seeing?

Woody: Well done on the Saab, looks a bargain!

CdeG: XJS looks like good value to me depending on what it's like mechanically and not as rotten as a pear underneath. Bloody leaping mascot stuck right in the middle of the bonnet = banghead

Agreed! The leaper, along with the US 'federal' headlight conversion, is normally the sign to me to close the ad and discount the car, but that looks otherwise peachy.
