Agreed! The leaper, along with the US 'federal' headlight conversion, is normally the sign to me to close the ad and discount the car, but that looks otherwise peachy.
On my iPhone they look like std euro lights non? Also, the UK spec XJS Le Mans ltd edition had the US lights as std

Lister and Lynx liked to fit the US lamps.

I know I would, but reckon XJS droptops are a good buy at present.

Both lovely.

In car news, I've gone shedding for a car than I'm actually happy to put bikes on/In.

£470 of the newest car I've ever owned.. It's alright.
There a superb bike car. We've gone on camping holidays with mine with camping gear and a freeride bike all fitting in the boot.

A lot of car for under £500. Had mine nearly 7 years and done over 100k in it. Never given me a problem does the daily/family thing, carries my bike around, been used as a van for house renovations and it does the trackday thing it's even been to Vmax. The only problem i've had is replacing it. Every time i think about it there's nothing that does everything it does without spending a lot more money both on purchase and upkeep.

If you need any help/advice while you own it feel free to drop me a pm. I would recommend dropping and cleaning the sump. If it's been ran on part synthetic oil the pickup will get clogged up first warning you'll get is the bottom end dying. Quick sump clean fill it with fully synth and then 6k/yearly oil change you won't have an issue. There a very easy car to work on everything is just well thought out and easy to get too.

Couple of pics of mine

Those ones are standard; I was referring to the conversions that you see from time to time.

True - some were certainly fitted originally, but as you say they tend to be on the more niche models.

I absolutely agree with the comments ref VFM; I really only see them going one way from here, but it may yet be a bit of a wait.

I am a luddite in this aspect, so please basic, simple advice for a basic and simple person!

Location/angle/sun/profile etc etc!

Gravel drive. And if you want lots of coverage get a tart in there too.

As above. Anyone waffling pish deserves strung up.

I highlight all the good points/maintenance carried out and also any negative points. Along with loads of pictures this should mean any time wasted is kept to a minimum.

You need to have a snappy intro, one of these will set the tone:

"Here we have ..."

"Welcome to my advert for ..."

"So ..."

If you haven't got any gravel nearby, find some gates to a stately home and take the photos there. Sure-fire winner.

Gravel drive, grass, hedge. The photos do make me want the car quite a bit more. hehe

Not sure I could take the interior. It reminds of the leftover skin that really obese people get when they've lost loads of weight.

Be sure to include "investment opportunity", and end with "can only go up in value".
