If you haven't got any gravel nearby, find some gates to a stately home and take the photos there. Sure-fire winner.
yes Borrowing someone's driveway entrance is always good. smile

Bonus points for including "barn find" or "future classic".

Orange GT3 like that is my ideal modern Esprit. Perfect spec in fact with those seats, no wing etc.

Ya git.

I much prefer just to take some on the driveway. Far less pretentious wink

With junior donkey no longer offering remotely the value they did the GT3 is increasingly on the radar.

I think Esprits in general represent a great vfm way into classic mid engined'ness glamour, especially compared to similar Ferrari prices.

yours looks great! Thanks. What's the best method for doing the sump?
Depends how friendly your local Saab specialist is Mine charges £70 on top of a normal oil change price. Worth getting a quote it's not a technically difficult job to do yourself but it is a pain if your using stands rather than a ramp as you'll need to drop the subframe and front section of the exhaust.

Guide here:

Few other guides around if you google Saab sump drop most are written for the 95 but there's only a few small differences between the two.

If you've not found it yet this is a good source for genuine new parts and second hand bits.

I want one.

A GT3 in black would be nice.

Or that orange one if I had 17 bags going spare
I posted a black one a few weeks ago.

It was very comely.

Ooooh... I do like an e32. MIne was a bit of a dog, but I'd love a good'un.

Sadly I'd be castrated if I even suggested it.

That said... where's the ad?

I've never been much of a writer.

On the plus side I have been trying to influence my old man down the 'turn the elan into a 911' route.

It seems I am edging closer as his mate of old has just bought one.
I'd get the Elan sorted if it was me. 26R stylee if need be.

In other news; I want a bike.

I have really tried to love that car, but i can't.

Great thinking about a bike. wink
You may will mock but I have always wanted one of the early Aprilia RS250 or if not a Ducati 748.

Both fit me just fine yes

You know if a 748 fits - so will a 996/8/9.

If I was your size I would have an rs250 and spend most weekends at Cadwell.
A certain family member has a 916 (nay 996) Foggy rep in the barn but an RS250 does feel more right for my frame
