Yes! This makes sense!
And I think I've just found the perfect 'cheap' 4x4: How about this piece of V8 spanish loveliness - what can go wrong? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...
Like it. But you might want to get the house in the hills first, before you start bringing home extra vehicles. And I think I've just found the perfect 'cheap' 4x4: How about this piece of V8 spanish loveliness - what can go wrong? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...
(Check the boot floor is metal and not an air/rust/underseal combo).

I'm thinking about punting 20-25k on a half-decent looking Ferrari Mondial at auction. Am I mad?
It would make a great partner for the Integrale. I guess the question is....Delighted to report that I am feeling sufficiently brave/stupid, and I'm now the proud owner of this.
1990 Ferrari Mondial t - Red, black leather, good service history, looks in good condition.
Very exciting for me - I was bidding on the phone; I'd reached my limit on my last bid, but thankfully whoever was bidding against me in the room (assuming there was somebody, that is) didn't bid an extra £500 and nab it.
Very exciting. My first Ferrari. (and room for the kids, honest!)

Ha - well spotted jeremy (glad to see you've been paying attention!) - temporary storage with a friend who currently has a spare garage, but not sure where it'll go after that. Some serious thinking to do.Exciting times, though.
I had a rare chance to go to the pub last night and caught up with a good friend - and most of our chat was car-based - interesting to see the car is red-lined at 7500rpm - can't wait to hear that proper V8 Ferrari at full chat - should be awesome!
