Yeah, but:
Mighty M version of the BMW 635 CSi shares the fab 6 with the M1.It's missing a wheel centre, and it doesn't share the engine with the M1.

That would be mental.
Oh and congratulations on the Mondial.
Thanks - can't wait to pick it up. Although I wish I had more time at the moment!! If all goes well I'll be getting the Integrale back from service/belts/MoT this week, so it'll be next week at the earliest before I pick up the Mondial. It's having a post-purchase inspection done now, too. Fingers crossed there are no horror stories in there...Oh and congratulations on the Mondial.

Here's a vid I just stumbled across showing how versatile the family 4 seater really is.
Awesome - great video. The car is the video is a 3.4t version (like mine) and looks like it handles pretty well, too.(don't listen to us, we're just jealous!)
Hello all.
My daily commute is changing, from 16 miles of A and B roads, to 50 miles of motorway. I'm currently running an Alpina B5, which is by several streets the most competent crusher of cross-country journeys I have ever driven, but when I think about the effect of 100 miles per day on its value, and my petrol budget, I wonder if there is a better solution.
I am leaning towards the A8 / 7 series / S Class / Phaeton group, at a £15k-ish level. Does anyone have comparitive experience of these, or others I should be considering? Is there any realistic difference in operating costs between them?
All help, advice, and general musings welcome. Thanks.
