yes lovely wheels.

And while a badly bodged flatnose conversion can look appalling, this one just looks awesome.

I'd still prefer a narrowbody CTR though.

Oh dear - I feel like I've woken up, opened the curtains and the world is looking in...

I'll just go back and edit our my address out of those photos...

And if everybody could refrain from quoting my address, I'd be a bit more comfortable...

Pulse - well investigated, though, and yes, I can confirm the views are amazing.

I can feel a Thread 80s revival coming on...

Talking of which, I've ordered something for the M5 from BMW that should arrive today. It's a part that I thought was NLA, but they found one available. I've got a feeling that it might not be quite what I think it is, but I should know as soon as the postman arrives!

Are you asking why people don't want their personal details circulating around the internet?

Probably more likely why people don't just drop him a PM so he can remove it, rather than post publically that his address is visable and it has nice views. A bit stalker-ish.

Not often you see a cool Herald, but that is delicious.

Did I miss my invite to rejn's Italian themed house party? frown

A friend of mine has just bought a genuine Flatnose, one of the nicest 911 variants I have driven is an early 4spd 3.3 lick
I seem to recall Sport Equipment 930s having a shocking list price back in 1987, when a couple of them featured on the cover of Performance Car - something in the region of £110k

Reminds me, I must watch True Romance again soon

Indeed, there's something very 'right' about that.

Loving that!

In other news my NB MX5 10AE leaves the stable today for its new owner - I've (not very reluctantly) agreed to drive it from Geneva to somewhere near Marseille. It's a nice day out, a balmy 22C, there are plenty of excellent roads between here and there and I'm not expected at any particular time...a fitting send off for a great car.

The world has gone mad.

20 years ago I was a mechanic dabbling in The Porsche field.

They weren't that amazing then. Yes good fun but my very beetle esk.

That pile of junk needs some serious cash spending on it.
