I did the same recently. Gave them all away to a local forum member. Would have regretted binning them but someone else getting the good of them was ok. Space was more valuable. They were going to continue doing the rounds for free after he was done with them.

Oh dear.

I just spoke to the guy who's done the full inspection on the Mondial...

I knew it needed cambelts, and had budgeted for a few extras, but it's a long list...

Potential issues include:
- electrics (known issues on Mondials apparently)
- corrosion on bodywork
- gearbox

On the plus side, the chassis, brakes, suspension, and engine are otherwise looking good.

Could be an expensive habit...

ETA -after an internet search, it seems a new upgraded fusebox is going to be $2000... eek.

Well needs must and I've stuck the W124 advert back up.

I put it up a few weeks ago but couldn't bare to part with it. However 2 new Porsche expenses mean that the cash will neatly pay for these items without the need for wifely discussion.

The only other one for sale is a proper rotter but the bloke is asking 2.2k. Seems like either he or me is mad, not sure which.
