Jesus wept. If Z4MC's are going up then there truely are some fools in this world determined to throw money at other people!
Z4MRs were £10-14k around 18 months ago. A year ago they started at £13.5k, now average around £16-17k. Z4MCs have always been a grand or so more, despite being more plentiful (1,052 Coupes vs. 921 Roadsters for the UK)... Olf said:
Z4MCs seem to be on a slow but sure rise over the last year. I have a 22k mile car that I picked up for 17 last year so feeling positive. This one isn't mine.

Similar trend to Z3Ms (991 Roadsters vs. 986 Coupes), with prices of Z3MCs gone fairly nuts, first alternative for many was the younger alternative, so naturally they've followed suit.

I believe UK M Coupe numbers were more like 550, and definitely fewer than the roadster. That Sytner car is clearly overpriced although with the low miles, a desirable colour/navigation and BMW warranty I would expect that to go for more like £22-23k.Similar trend to Z3Ms (991 Roadsters vs. 986 Coupes), with prices of Z3MCs gone fairly nuts, first alternative for many was the younger alternative, so naturally they've followed suit.
I have a near perfect 30,000 mile black sapphire/Imola red MC in the garage that barely gets used for a variety of reasons (not least at the moment because I fractured my neck a couple of weeks ago and am not driving anywhere for a while!) and really ought to be sold, but the way the market is going at the moment I may as well hang on and see what develops.
If I did try and sell it privately now I would be looking for £19.5k, which is what I paid for it four years ago from a dealer on 21,000 miles.

This. Absolutely this. I had, and have since sold, a fantastic SL, and my next folly will be an XJS.But they're for driving and enjoying. The idea of parking a car up in storage in order to reap future benefits seems criminally wrong to me.
Which is why I'll probably die poor.
On the subject of Jags, this seems to have come up for auction with surprisingly little fanfare.

The Steed car!
Apparently doesn't quite look like the pics anymore, being in need of restoration, but it's

Reckon on it beating the estimate comprehensively.

My e34s going up for sale shortly once I've had a chance to UK register it.
Originally a UK e34 525i touring and its now fitted with an e36 3.2 m3 engine and 5 speed e36 m3 gear box.
Surprisingly quite nippy as you would imagine and the full length sunroof even still works!

XJS spare parts are criminally expensive and rare according to a friend who runs/ran one before it was written off!
Sounds like he's been bent over. General stuff required to keep them running sweetly are Fiesta cheap, especially for the 6 bangers.DJRC said:
Does seem cheap but I have seen some real rotters over the years. If half decent that one would make a great daily driver/do'er up'erGassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
