Obviously it's a lot pricier than it was a few years back an you'll all have stores of how you almost bought one for £920, but this is magnificent at any money.

That would make a good pizza delivery vehicle

Congrats Gruber, that looks ace.

I spent much of my early career being driven around in early 80s Land Rovers in Germany, usually during the winter. Good God they were grim days.

Thanks!

This one has bum warmers and a heated windscreen. Fancy, eh?!

There is an oddity parked outside a fairly humble house near to where I walk my dog.
House looks unloved, to say nothing of the car.

For some time I have been thinking about a different kind of car to add to my Mercedes barges (W124, SL).

I rather like this:

1990 LOTUS ELAN SE TURBO CALYPSO RED with GREY/RED LEATHER INTERIOR. , Rare early car -192nd built - with fully documented history. Original Opera Glass headlights and recent new roof. Excellent paintwork, no fading. Green stuff brake pads, recent front discs. MOT to Jul 2016 no advisories. Ready to drive away.., 5+ owners, Next MOT due 07/07/2016, Full service history, Electric windows, MP3 player, Leather trim, Sports seats, Alloy wheels, Spare wheel (Space-saver), Power steering, Steering wheel rake adjustment, Alarm, Immobiliser. RED, £5,250
I assume it would always be worth about £5k?!

This reminds me that I should take a photo of the one I see covered in a dust sheet, parked outside a railway arch mechanic's premises in Golders Green.

I went back this morning to photograph the rear view and number plate, but there were lots of cars outside the house so I bottled it!

It looked very genuine to me, but you could write what I know about exotica on the very small thing I'd need to record my knowledge of the female psyche.

I must admit, I prefer the darker hues. I'm not sure it's a car that suits DKR.

A dark green one would most likely be on my lottery list though.

Rowan Atkinson bought one of these back in the day and it appeared in that really good program he made about his love of cars, c1990 (The Driven Man - see it on YouTube).

Seem to remember him writing in CAR - after driving the then new 456 - that the Virage felt like a lorry in comparison.
