Better than that, you can fit 2!
Will dig out a pic
From this end of the telescope, that's a frankly terrifying prospect. But so long as we can fit one in...Will dig out a pic
I'd be interested to see a picture if you find one. I'd rather assumed there wouldn't be enough legroom for the little'un so I'm be very happy to be proved wrong.
I love the old 6 series. My old E23 gave me a very memorable trip when I picked it up late at night in London, and drove it up to Edinburgh arriving at 4am. I really like how this era of BMW drive, so I bet a good M635 is just lovely.
I don't think they seem that expensive either given the movement upwards of other special BMWs of the era (though what do I know!).

I know it's the much maligned Mk4, but this colour combo looks great.

That malachitegrun on an M635 is very rare indeed but the lotus white leather wears incredibly easily and I've yet to see a nice one.
The second car mentions a timing chain tensioner change but the E28 M5 and M635CSi engines are notorious for eating a timing chain between 80k to 120k miles so really need a complete new chain, sprockets, guides and tensioner. Expect a £2,500plus bill for getting it done if you can find the bits as unfortunately some chain guides are currently unavailable leaving some engine rebuilds in limbo.
The E26/1 M1, U.S. E24 M6 and E34 M5 engines have a dual row timing chain so don't tend to suffer premature chain failure.
As for chrome bumper vs world bumper, I'm in the chrome camp for the nicer, lighter lines it leaves on the ends of the car.

That's lush, but the price tag and description suggest it may be one of the rusty ones.E24man said:

Does the S38 engine in the delphin grey car not have the dual row chain, I thought the S38 engine did and the M88's had the single row chain? The second car mentions a timing chain tensioner change but the E28 M5 and M635CSi engines are notorious for eating a timing chain between 80k to 120k miles so really need a complete new chain, sprockets, guides and tensioner. Excellent knowledge as always E24man. Does this also apply to the e28 M535 - I suspect not as isn't that just a normal 535 engine?E30M3SE said:

All E28 M5's and E24 M635CSi's have the the M88/3 engine with the single row timing chain not an S38 which has a dual row chain.0a said:

The E28 M535i M30 engine is absolutely no different from the the E28 535i, 635CSi and late E23 735i engine, all rated at 218bhp. They all also have a single row timing chain but being a SOHC and a different design is considerably less stressed and has very little history of snapping or failing, although there is the odd tale of abused/neglected/very tired engines chains slipping a tooth.E24man said:

Great thanks. As an aside I went out a very highly trained ex police chap in his E28 M535 a couple of years back and it was a real pleasure to watch a proper driver at work in an analogue car, a lovely car and one of my most memorable passenger rides (behind the 918!).

I do too.
I owned one many years ago, I know they get slated but I have to say for the purpose I used it for, daily commute 15 miles each way on dual carrigeway, it was excellent, couldn't fault it, never gave me a problem and had more than enough grunt for the job, I think for the money they are a great buy, even by today's standards they aren't slow, and definitely a good car if you have a motorway commute, decent fuel economy and adequate performance. Instead of worrying about a chain snapping, you get to worry about the banjo bolts on the oil spray bar coming loose and starving the head. What you give with one hand....
O/T (slightly) - have you fitted the S50 tensioner to your M635?
