Not driven a convertible Cooper as far as I can remember but love hatch Cooper/Cooper S, particularly the supercharged (as opposed to the later turbo) and would quite happily have one myself.

Can't see this hanging around long at five bags. Not sure what less it has to offer than some of the £20k examples I've spotted recently.

Looks fantastic....apart from the tailgate fit...which may be an easy fix or....not!

Ref RR; don't get me wrong, I prefer the velour (warmer and less slippy) but I would rather have an auto personally.

Ref Cooper; I would love an S/C'd Cooper S, dark grey/black roof (no stripes) and the Minilite style alloys. Would be a great daily for me.

I think if one owned half of Oxfordshire, that would be the car to drive around the estate in. I'd like mine a bit scruffy around the edges, automatic, and preferably with an Overfinch 5.7 conversion too.

It's that uh-oh, another classic car auction to salivate over time.

Today I'm going to take the GT AM recreation, the 2002 Turbo, the preeety Fiat, the Crapi and of course the TR4A. cloud9cool

And a large barn to put them all in please. biggrin

My inexpert and limited research tells me not all of them do. Maybe an option at time of purchase?

Ah-ha!

bmw2002 web site said:
Press models had “2002″ and “turbo” added to the front spoiler in reverse script, so any car in front of the Turbo would know exactly what had just suddenly appeared behind him. The Press had a field day with BMW’s irresponsibleness, so it was decided to drop the reverse lettering on all production models.
So obrut only on press vehicles. readitnerd

Pretty easy to adjust the catches. It might even just need a good slam!

Looks good and good value. There is a school of thought which says the late 80s chassis were made from better quality steel than the 90s. It certainly looks in good condition. I can imagine a manual having a very ponderous shift, but I've no personal experience of them. Need to watch the electric seats as the controls do stop working, which is an MOT fail these days.

£15k seems optimistic, but there's appeal in an almost new E36. Shame about the colour and wheels.

Same garage has this.

Rather tasty for a modern.
