I stumbled across a new Alfa Giulia in full cold-weather, stealth-livery test mode this week.
It looked pretty to me; a bit smaller proportioned than the photos suggest. The front end is certainly Alfa, the back end, or the rear lights anyway, could have been a Ford, a Maserati, a Jaguar or a Kia. Not ugly, just a bit generic. The wheels were jolly nice cloverleaf-style, and the stance was bob on to my eyes.
The weather conditions were some of the most atrocious I've driven in so consequently did not experience any naughty sounds it may make as we both crawled along at sub 20mph on the highway in, at times, white out conditions and temps near minus a million.
It'll make quite a nice alternative in the super saloon sector I should think.

Are E46 3-series starting to get popular for track cars or is the preference still for E36s? This one looks like it has lots of good bits. I wonder what it weighs.

Hmmm, no mention of baffled sump, which I would have thought would be a prerequisite for rollin' on slicks, no? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/motorsport/...
