Well here's a 2005 CSR with 30k miles for £33k

That's why I work with my hands not my head.

Probably halves the monthlies towards Fiesta levels over the period of that car. Blimey.
Only setup I haven't driven is the CSR so I can't comment on how they drive but the reviews were very favourable and there's no denying that 0-60 in 3.1 and a top speed of 155mph is pretty darned quick!

This looks like massive fun....

No idea what the gearing's like but I can imagine its bloody quick but possible not out-and-out fast(?)...but that could be a good thing as it may well have a tendency to oversteer(?)

That'll have sorted the wife, but what did you use to fix the car?

It's when Coopers use grease you have to worry.

I'm awarding myself half a point for guessing that it was a Konig. Didn't recognise the door handle though.

Has anyone got any thoughts on where I might be able to find some storage in the Kent / Sussex border area? At the moment I'm knocking on farmers doors hoping to rent a barn or part of a barn for some cash, but no luck so far. Don't want to pay a fortune.

It's tricky: initially I had it down as an oak, but on closer inspection it could be beech. The covering of ivy doesn't help.

Welcome to my world of pain. biggrin I can't help in your area specifically, other than to suggest you call on a few rental agencies and estate agents - they often know of stuff that isn't advertised or is about to become free.

But you might have to accept you will need to pay for somewhere dry, secure and rodent free. wink

I'm surprised. I thought my parking challenges were a London-specific thing. I never realised that it was a wider problem.

I'm not sure if they cover Home Counties but there are a couple of websites that advertise garage space available. I'll see if I can dig out details.

Oh and Jeremyc - I'd always Imagined your photo location for some of your photos was your own gate posts at the end of a long drive for Jeremyc Manor with its own garageblock?!!

ETA: parklet.co.uk was quite useful in Canary Wharf - they claim to cover the whole of the U.K...
