Interesting. Initially, in my head I thought £10k was "about right" for a quick sale. Until I discovered he wasn't lying when WBAC offered him £13200. I've never used them, and maybe they kick you in the goolies once you've walked through their office door, but they had no reason to with the example on offer. It was a minter. On the other hand, he's had no bites whatsoever through the usual channels at £15k.

Just seen that auction listing now with that CGT: https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1981-porsche-9...
Extremely low-miles EvoII with £140-160k estimate: https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1990-mercedes-...
£50-60k estimate: https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1987-ford-sier...
That 190 is a real test of the current market now I think
That garage would suit me fine Extremely low-miles EvoII with £140-160k estimate: https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1990-mercedes-...

similar 190 sold for £100,688 at their auction last year.
Thanks, hadn't seen that before. Have seen asking prices on Mobile.de for these at €200k+ though, which is where I was coming fromMattOz said:
I remember MCP Motorsport had an EvoII on the books for years. From memory, it had 40k ish miles and went up in "value" over the time from £29k to £45k. I'm going back a decade or so, but they were reasonably priced at one stage.
I remember that car in 2006 at £45k, at a time where E30 Sport Evos were half that IIRCs m said:

In the late 90s, used to see one at or around Curborough quite often - enjoyed some spirited convoying
Only time I've ever witnessed one was parking up at Silverstone for the GP in '96. Amazingly it even seemed to outshine the Alfa SZ beside it for attentionAlthough I did overhear someone ask "What on earth has that guy done to his Mercedes?"

Not an unreasonable question though, I remember a number of dubious 'rude merc' kitted 190s around during the time. Although I did overhear someone ask "What on earth has that guy done to his Mercedes?"

>pelvic thrust<That's crying out for some SE bumpers and a set of Style 31s.
This will be of relatively little interest to most, but as I was in Hatfield OPC yesterday I was perusing their "Classic" section. Amongst a lovely old 911 was a stand of retrofits, of which one was a single DIN head unit that seemed to be the equivalent of PCM3.
Looks like this:
And worked really well. Suspect it'd be cheaper to buy a 964RS, but will ask when I'm next there. Given it fits anything, I'm a bit tempted for the M5.

Makes my recent purchase which was a 10th of the price seems like a veritable bargain! Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
