Just that I may know someone who could possibly be interested in the Mazda.
No worries, have a word with them and pop over an email if they need any more info, there's no rush, just the horses of Stuttgart are calling again.....

I wouldn't for a second try to justify why, but I like it.

Ummm... Does the 997 Carrera S (3.8) suffer the bore wear issues of the 996? If so, does this make it a bad idea to buy one?

Seems to be an awful lot of 986/997 plans afoot on the Thread

I have some thoughts, not yet a plan, but would welcome input, regarding the Mulsanne family.

From the driver's seat I far, far, prefer the Brooklands flavour, with the full console and floor change. So much more satisfying somehow.

Not available on an 'R' - would I be missing much, other than amusement?

It's the most common of the lot is it not? In Gen 1 form anyway.

In my experience... no. But then again, I'm a bit odd on these cars - I didn't feel that the turbo added much so ended up with a Silver Spur. Slow, but lovely. Better to be driven in than to drive, to be honest.

If I was buying again, I'd really quite like the Turbo S they did - quite rare.

this one has been for sale for years (and quoted on this thread a couple of times, too)...

1974 Nissan 260z with 350hp RB25DET

I like this a lot, not sure if it's anywhere near £20k's worth but looks like it's been done properly

It's a Gen 1 I'm looking at...

How common is "most common"?

That BeGentley Turbo S really is lovely isn't it, one of those or equivalent R, Brooklands or RT are on my list.
