Seeing how old Rangies are popular at the moment:

And this has the potential to be quite hilarious*:

*As well as sphincter-smashingly, internal-organ-damagingly, utterly, horrifyingly ruinous.

There was a nice grey 1.4 XSi on ebay last night, looked quite tidy iirc.

I like the idea of an 800kg screamer yes

Although a nice 205 GTi is still on 'the list' along with a 106 Rallye....

I loved my old 1.6 XSi, one of the most fun cars I've ever owned.

With some tlc that could be made fantastic, and identical to your old steed.

Indeed. Very small additional outlay should see that looking truly ace again - a bit of dent removal, a new bonnet badge and a wheel refurb and you'd have a minter, by the looks of things.

Oh now that is pretty nice! We were supposed to be driving down to Monaco for the F1 this may (baby slightly got in the way of that one), lads drive & then pick up the girls from nice airport. This would have been just the ticket.

Would be a great thing to motor down there in yes

I took my XJR to Le Mans and it was pretty much the perfect tool for the job.

Dammit, I missed this thread. One of the best things going on PH. I just couldn't keep up (pace or budget)!

Will try to dip in more often.

The problem with all this price speculation "investment" rubbish is now not only will I never be able to buy my dream car(s) but I also won't see them on the road due to the risk of a stone chip shattering their value.

I've got a lot of time for that. Love the dish on the rear wheels. Funny as I never used to like this shape.
