I got a wave and a thumbs-up earlier from a chap in a 4C (was out in the M5). If it has the 1.7 turbo my memory thinks it has, the fruity tooter they fit works wonders - sounded great.

But not great enough to sate my appetite for something French. I'm bidding on something cheap and ridiculous on eBay, and making a decent fist of importing something French from the 70s out of Holland.

I put it down to an early mid-life crisis.

Dear Beards,

Please help. Mate of mine has 4K burning a hole in his pocket.

He wants a weekend thing that an keep up when we go off hooning around wales and can handle the odd track day.

Suggested 986 box , Can't handle the hair dresser bit.

Smoked around in a 951 for a year or so and loved it but they are way out of budget now! Would an NA 944 be a terrible shout?
