They are aging well. Should think 3.0 manuals are relatively rare birds.

TBH, I don't really understand what Bangle is on about. I think I'd rather hear an explanation for the rear ends of the 6 and 7 series!
Clever chap Mr B :-)
The rag sits a bit too high when up, but always thought it looked very tidy down.
Plus the early ones had gingers.
A bit of motoring nirvana for me; autumnal Norwegian mountain roads, heated seats, top down, count the other road users on one hand.

Z4M Coupe is properly handsome imo.
The E90, particularly as an M3, looks great, too.
True.

E36 is still a very well proportioned thing....

Joseph has had that E90 for sale for about 10 weeks now. It's lovely. Bamboo and no EDC probably holding it back, sadly.

Loon turning tricks aside, I always think these are overlooked when people look at small sports cars of the MX-5 ilk.

Not sure how much more fun you can have for £1400.

Tiff's opinions
Anyone got experience of what owning one of these is like in comparison to a Clio Trophy?

All the better for it. It's a drab looking place in black.

I think the E36 will end up being a design icon; more so even that its E46 descendant. It's just so fabulously proportioned.

yes

The E46 is handsome and a good car but the E36 pips it in terms of size / proportions. It handles better E30 but is not as heavy as the E46. that said the M54B30 is the best BMW six this side of an S-engine. one of those in an E36 would be lovely. Well, you could just buy an M3 as well hehe

Some great BMW postings chaps, that Santorini Sport has been mentioned here before but certainly not moaning at seeing it again. Just looks 'right' doesn't it.

That 2002 'M2' is pretty ruddy special isn't it, great alternative to an Alfaholics GTA lick

Indeed. It's a great looking car. If I was in the market for one, it'd be on the list. Great colour combo.

I love those wheels.

Other than the lacquer peel, corrosion and difficulty of cleaning.

Nice E36 is an endangered species.

2002s are such great cars in normal guise. The 2002 M2 must be mindblowing cloud9

I used to see an Avus blue 328i Sport Touring around quite a bit, but now long since gone. One of those, or maybe in Techno Violet, would be a lovely thing
