Only CS. Standard kit.

Both GT and 488 built to fit the rules. Think the BoP business is flawed.

The only cars built to the 2016 regulations were the 488 and GT, according to Bernard Niclot (FIA technical director). The 2016 regs may result in cars that are inherently faster.

Yeah. My point was you could get buckets as an option in non-CS, so the weight of sports seats wasn't always offset by the cage.

And the extinguisher was part of the Clubsport pack, but you didn't have to have it.

Interestingly, the brochure doesn't mention weights other than GT3 vs GT3 RS.

Agreed, but I guess that's not news. Nor the fact that they're easy to swindle.

The winning GT arrived at Goodwood today.

As did the Porsche.

The 919 went on stand with the correct level of grime.

Ford polished the GT.

I take your point but I think most racing cars (especially of the endurance variety) are more interesting for some texture.

Plus, tongue firmly in cheek wink

Tough call.

Personally, I think they'll regret that. They could have wheeled out any shiny replica. If they wanted to maintain the "historical" aspect of the LM, they should have left it IMO, and put it in their museum, wherever that is - Dearborn one assumes.

I like my cars same as I like my women: wearing the patina of being absolutely pounded to oblivion for 24hrs by three men.

There does seem to be some fantastically batst crazy stuff in the European hillclimb scene. I've seen a vid in the past of a similar car and I think the engine was a Judd V8.
