I was imagining something more around £15k, to be honest.
A good standard E46 M3 will set you back that, a CS probably more.dom9 said:
You're changing your argument now - is the clutch on this one brand new? There is an M5 manual available in the US so a clutch and flywheel must be available even if it needs modification, which isn't going to cost the Earth.
It's running an E90 M3 gearbox and, AFAIK, clutch. For the record, I'm not sure it's worth £30k but I think you'd struggle to build one for much less unless you did all the work yourself.
Again, I'm not slagging it off. I love it. I just don't see the value at £30k, which seems fairly consistent here.
A good M3 will cost you more - nothing in the ad tells me this is a better M3 than any other (almost) 100k M3 out there.
Standard cars are worth more, a good CS would cost you less an I believe mwstewart was talking about less when he was thinking about selling his car.
Again, it's not what it cost (could have cost £1MM for all we know) but what its value is on the 2nd hand market. At £30k, I think that would be the very top. With less miles, maybe. As it is; no way.
But, again, because the non-owners seem upset - it may be worth that to someone who can't do the work themselves and don't value mileage on the chassis etc. I freaking love this car!

There are two LSx transplants that I'd love to do.
Firstly in a stock-looking London cab, complete with steel dished wheels with those hubcaps to accommodate wider rubber and the orange light at the front reading LSXI.
Secondly in my Land Rover, with side exit exhausts just behind the doors and the lettering on the bonnet reading D E A F E N E R.

I used to love that magazine! I have that one. I would smuggly recount the 211.5mph top speed at any car conversation opportunity I still have the one somewhere with this thisng on the coverFound a pic online:
And a subsequent one (I think) with a yellow topless one.
IIRC the edition with the red one had a Strosek 911 bought for a Swiss hoteliers daughter and was titled 'The Atomic Cockroach'

Yes, but then you're driving a Camaro.
Nothing wrong with the current/new Gen Camaros, dear boy. Indeed, I'd be in one right now were it not for an the previous owner of a perspective car apparently engaging reverse at some speed (still makes me shudder when I think about that test drive).Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
