It doesn't even need to be like that. Plenty of cars have all red at the back but the indicators appear orange when lit up.
Indeed, There should be no need for those fugly white lenses. You can even have seqential lights on 2014+ cars in the EU now (I have seen a couple of Audi's with it).

I don't know why they can't just be red like in the US, surely if somebody is too stupid to realise that its a turn signal/indicator then they should not be alowed out of the house unsupervised.

So the U.S. get all red, much much better.

They are also being misleading. They have loads of pictures on their website of them with red tail lights (granted the configurator does show clear lights) and the car they were showing last year in the UK had red lights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQJ-s5jbrOs

I did hope it was the difference between ecoboost and the V8.

Car in that Essex Ford video is a US one.

LHD, bonnet scoops and no rear fog light.

According to BT.com news, the Shelby GT upgrade will be offered to existing Mustang GT owners for £26,000.

Why would you? A supercharger kit is around 7K USD, so they're charging you the thick end of £20K for a few carbon bits and the fact it's an "official" Shelby Mustang? I'll pass, thanks.

Besides which, I'd prefer to get some more concrete details about MY car, rather than the news that I can pay +50% of the purchase again to upgrade. rolleyes

It's gonna be a long year.headache

Mmmm yes. Needs to be more subtle than that. Made difficult by the design.

Now my Mercury, nice and subtle.

A cracker - not sold yet?

Had two contact me from Germany and one from Holland plus a UK guy that wanted a test drive but nothing firm. Actually surprised that the page has had over 1000 views and had over 100 in the first 2 hours it was up.

Didn't think that people would be searching for it as it's such a niche market. If my plan of getting a place in the sticks happens later this year and it hasn't sold, I'll have no problem keeping it, my Beemer, my new addition (if that ever happens) and my Street Triple biggrin

Doesn't surprise me. One of my old Mustangs ('04 GT Convertible) went to Sweden, the guy who bought it was great, no hassle at all. I also had a Ford Expedition which a couple of German guys came over and bought, again no problems. Dare I say it - but it can be easier than selling to some of the English buyers LOL biglaugh

For £26k you could probably crack 1000bhp. Most of that money will be the fee to use the Shelby name.

No further info or updates on the deposit and ordering situation from anyone ? I was going to have a trip down to my local Ford dealer this week-end and see what they have to say.

If you have a peoples ford store near you they say they won't take a deposit but will put you on the list to pay a deposit when ford allow them to order the cars they require . Ie they are saying they can't order the cars yet.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a sensible approach and makes things a little clearer. I'm in East Anglia so not near to a Peoples Ford Store. Will see what local dealership has to say !

It must be a STORE with Mustang sales approval - check on the Ford site

I saw 2 today, a red GT and a black GT track pack. The track pack version would look better if the wheels were silver instead of black.

Can you please see if the red rear light clusters are available in the States as I see a lot of UK owners swapping the white ones over.
