Going down the hatch route ... I do love toyota starlets. From the early ones up to my Favourite quad headlight ep82. 1.3 Turbo 130bhp , weighs as much as my left testicle .. Absolute hoot to drive an easily tuneable .

I prefer the Nissan Pulsar's in the hatchback world, to me they are like a mini-Impreza.

Agree with the people on the Celica-Supra, such a looker smile

Honda NSX - first proper Jap supercar? It looks a bit bland though, so for styling I'd go for the FD RX7 / 240Z.

The Pulsar is known as "Godzuki" a nod to the Skyline's moniker of "Godzilla".

I had a go in a mates 400bhp Pulsar and it made my 300bhp one seem same! eek
I still remember the look on the M3 owners face! hehe

Had a Supra 3.0i briefly in the 90's. Very sweet ride.

The 2000gt is a thing of beauty.

Reminds me of a TVR (in a good way) - not many panels, smooth and beautifal! cloud9

Mine, owned it since 2000, currently undergoing sympathetic restoration.

Love these cars, my other original Lancer I purchased when I was 21 (24 years ago) I still have but is sadly well beyond help as it has rusted so appallingly . Currently being used as a donor car to keep other LT's on the road.

Should be in the original White / Orange "Rally spec" paint option "PWO" (which I will do when I tackle the bodywork). Maybe not to everyone's taste, but 170 bhp , RWD and around the same weight as a Mark 2 Escort makes for some good fun. Before the MIVEC engines were fitted to EVO's, this same basic engine design was still being used (4G63BT) in the Evo models, albeit the Evo's had an extra cam, 8 more valves and a few more updates. Shares the same engine as the Starions, Galants and Sapporo turbo's of the time but with a lighter flywheel and slightly different ECI system.

[/ pub bore].

When I still had my evo1 track car,i wanted one of these. Four years later I got this australia import 74 ta22.

I've modded it with out going mad. 2way diff, coilovers, cam and carbs, otherwise its original.

Theres a high comp big valve 1750 engine half built on the stand for it right now.

Here with another peice of class, the Mitsubishi starion.

And some random jap classics ive got on photobucket.

Gotta love a Mitsi.

For Me,the Evo always trumped the impreza.Just that little bit sharper.

Of course I had one.

Even my son is JDM
