C-reg Citreon Visa GTi.

Yeah, if I saw it I reckon I'd buy it. But it would have to mean someone had fixed the engine which was lunched when the cambelt snapped.

Last seen my me 22 years ago rotting in a field near where the recovery truck left it.

Mine was just like this except on a B plate, not really feeling a massive desire for one if I'm honest!
I had a beige one of these and it is the only car that I ever ended up facing the way I came travelling backwards at 50mph during a 360 spin in the Lake District. I managed to clip the verge on both left and right as well.

People say the Pug 205 GTI was lairy but at least that had half decent tyres ( Pirelli P6 ?? ) and quick steering.

A Cav 1600L with 165 tyres from uniroyal once it got moving from the back was very hard to catch as it was outside it's envelope.

SAW245H Vauxhall Viva HC

Again? God no.

Only had to mention rain in the weather forecast and the bloody thing would damp out.

Sorted it out by putting it through a wall in the end.....

You are my Nan?

She had a Viva that she stuffed through a wall.

Actually, it was her own front garden wall and while she didn't give a monkeys about the car, or the wall, she was most upset about squishing her Daffodils.

Do you like Daffodils?

H reg Fiat Uno Formula, with the ancient 903cc OHV engine.

I'd quite like one again, although not as my only car!

My first car was a diesel 306, so no ... However it did have character (Read: Electrical faults) and served it's purpose to see whether I'd crash it, or do damage to it within my first few months of driving. To be honest, it was pretty fun to drive, excluding that diesel engine. I really regretted not getting a petrol variant, much like my friends. However 8-10 months later, I was in a S1 Elise smile

For me it was a 1963 Triumph Herald 1200. Passed my test at 17, used the car for 9 months, rolled it onto it's side ( not difficult! It was one of those "watch this" moments) fitted secondhand o/s rear driveshaft to replace the bent one, bit of straightening of the roof gutters that got flattened, then sold the car to my sister! She ran it for about 2 years more until the front suspension collapsed. Would I want it back ? No way! Bought myself an MG Midget Mk1 ( sliding sidescreen model ) at 17, I thought it was pretty cool

Golf 1.1 of Powah!

It was awful, but it got me mobile, taught me about handling at ludicrously low speeds and give me my first experiences of a few things*

Like old girlfriends, I wouldn't go back.
