Another vote for Test Drive 2: The Duel. Had it on Mega Drive, best times ever as a kid. Had Indy 500 on an old 286 PC and thought it was the mustard!

Test Drive 4 (on PC) was one of the first racing games I ever played. In fact, I still have it to this day! It introduced me to TVR (which was completely unknown to a kid growing up in the US in the '90s) which eventually led me to this very forum!

It's also responsible for my fantasy of driving flat-out down that crazy hill in San Francisco!

Which TVR did it feature?

The very same hill (Driver/Driver 2)? biggrin

Vette! anyone? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vette! They mapped the whole of San Francisco into the game.

Ahem, was in my admittedly long list, was a really good, if a little lightweight racing game.

Gran Turismo was a landmark in racing/driving games, and obviously GTA 3, Vice City being the one that really hit the spot for me though.

I would have loved to have seen a glimpse of say, Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One as a 14 year old, I think that was the point when games lived up to expectations, took over thirty years, it may not be the best driving game ever but look at it and see how far things have come.

It had the Cerbera (the original version with proper headlights). I had never heard of TVR before (they stopped selling cars in the US before I was born), but that car was just beautiful! I still want one, today, but our archaic and arbitrary importation laws mean Cerberas will still be illegal to import here for a few more years.

Good stuff, cheers.
I didn't realise they had one - certainly my memory escapes me (was too long ago).
