I've had a few...

Couple of 343's (one was my first car - Rear wheel drive smile) a V70 and S80.

Other than the 343's all have been dirt cheap to run, and the comfort is amazing.

I'm shortly ditching german metal to go back to Volvo.

I love Volvos. We had a 265GLE (V6 Estate) back in the early 1990s. Full leather, aircon, ABS, etc. etc.
Tried looking for one and never found another. Then found according to a Google search there are only eight left.

I do like the 940s and the T5 and keep thinking about buying one but never getting round to it.

Would love the idea of that slate gray coloured one with tinted windows.

I have the "love" for Volvos since buying one in 2008. Briefly flirted with another manufacturer but got rid of it and got myself another Volvo. Great engines (if you get the Volvo 5 pots), classy interior, and those seats are heaven!

I will probably stay with Volvo now for ever!

I had a Volvo v50 when I was in my late 20's. It was an r design and in my opinion looked much better for it. Probably rate it as one of my favourite owned cars.

Loved my old Volvo I had as my daily driver in the '90s. Only car I've ever regretted selling. frown

I love small fast saloons and a s40 t5 is a real option vs a focus St
I have one parked on the drive and, whilst it is no sports car, it's definitely quick. Not exactly fast off the line (at least not with the Geartronic box) but from 50 or 60 upwards it pulls like a train.

Had it just over two years and only expense has been a new boost sensor for about £100 and it needs a new fuel pressure sensor at the moment which will be another couple of hundred. Not bad for a 10 year old car. Averages 23mpg in normal use but on the run to Le Mans each year that goes up to near 45.
