Long story short, I no longer have a key for my car and an looking for any recommendations for where to turn for a replacement.

The car is a 1996 MR2 Turbo and I'm located in Warwickshire.

I assume Mr T will have my eyes out so any alternatives are welcome frown

If you have the key number any locksmith should be able to cut a replacement, otherwise your stuck with Toyota and hopefully they can trace original key number.

Obvious question, but when was the last time you had it?

It can't have walked away...

And if and when you find it shoutGET A SPARE ONE!

Good luck.

Jap import you will struggle to get a replacement key unless you find the key or just buy a new ( 2nd hand) lock set from a Breaker ( try Rogue motor sport for a lock set).

A decent "Auto" locksmith will cut a key to suit your lock with no need for a key number. He will be able to program it as well if needed.

Try these who I know are good.

In the Clock Towers shopping centre in Rugby is a very helpful locksmiths shop. It's in the corner just beyond Wilkos. If he can't do it, he'll point you in the right direction.
