Does anyone have a recommendation for a good glass fitter in Hertfordshire or London in the UK. I need to get my front and rear screens refitted to my Ferrari 246GT Dino and the guy who was going to do this is not available at the moment.

I have also posted this in the Classic Ferrari section so apologies for the cross posting.

As has been said, Paul aka glasstec is your man.

Search for him on here, then ask the question on the 993 section of 911uk - 993's have a well known weak spot around the screen which requires it to be taken out & refitted properly to prevent rot & screen squeak. Knowing how OCD 993 owners are lots have used him.

I've not used him personally but have spoken to him at length and he was VERY helpful, a mate used him and was very impressed.

No link to him but he'd be my first call if I needed to.

Another for Paul here - did a great job on my TVR which is a bugger of a screen to fit.

Another ringing endorsement for Paul, he's a terrific bloke and and takes great pride in his work.

He's filled a chip and replaced a windscreen for me on separate occasions, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Paul came and expertly fitted both front and rear screens today. All went smoothly without any major problems. What a super guy. I'm very impressed.

Thank you, Paul and all who replied.
