Yet not the foresight to have it delivered on a trailer to keep the mileage lower still. At that price it will be sold to the next "investor" who will lock it away for another 23 years. Really annoyed that the poster cars from my childhood seem to have been turned into mere commodities, probably by people who don't even have an interest in cars. As others have said, what a waste!

But will it actually matter? It will inevitably be bought by a collector/investor, and the only way to preserve the huge price tag will be to keep it at zero miles, which is a real shame.Its effectively just a piece of (automotive) art.

I considered buying an Integrale once, but a test drive convinced me I'd have no driven licence in a few weeks, so quick did it feel.
Probably no faster than my RX8 is these days, in reality, but back then it was the only car I test drove that made my then wheels (a R5 GTT) seem slow.
LHD and, almost too much speed, discouraged me. I don't regret it (although I had decidedly mixed feelings about the Calibra I did choose! - I know people are going to think I was mad in hindsight, but whilst the Vauxhall didn't handle very well and mine was about as reliable as an Alfa, I still had some iconic moments in it - and not like that, before you jump to conclusions!
), but it's still a car that left a memory and I recall with much affection.
Great motor, a lot of money and will probably never get used because of the mileage - Not sure I'd want a "LOOK AT ME!!!!" Martini one either, a nice red one would do me with 70,000 miles or so

This for me is the best car Jaguar never made! And for the same estimate as an E30 M3, bonkers, one mass produced the other 600hp British icon.
Saw these when I was dropping my car back into storage.The Alfa is up for Auction with 502miles. The V Dub has 58miles. Same guy has I think has some Ferraris going through the same auction at Silverstone. Looked inside the Alfa and VW and they were fantastic I have to say. The Ferraris were tucked away.

A lot of 'grale owners experiment with that. When mine was overseas it sat a lot lower than here in the UK. Our third world roads need plenty of suspension travel and that's one of the beauties of the Lancia: corners are executed as 'grip, roll and boost' unlike the really flat, pointy darty thing that modern hot hatches do. It's all part of the charm.31 miles... criminal.

I once almost bought one for £12,995 (early 90s) - from a Jaguar dealer no less - I'd gone in to look at an E30 325 Sport and the Lister was the same price (I ended-up buying neither - 2 mistakes in 1 trip!!)
As for the Lancia - do people really want a car which hasn't moved in a couple of decades - has had presumably little-or-no-maintenance in that time either (unless we're supposed to believe they've replaced most of the parts in the thing twice over for no reason!?)
It's an ornament isn't it?
