Oil change with an oil cooler.

The flow rate of oil through the cooler is this same as through the engine so no need to flush cooler as it is done every time you get the oil up to 80 Degrees , that's the temp the sandwich plate should open . Only time to flush is after a engine failure but in that case I would recommend a new unit to make sure it's clean .
