Just to be pedantic, that's not a d-turbo. Its got the wrong interior and the wrong wheels, although the wheels are probably a popular swap. The seats on the other hand should be the same as a GTi but in a different fabric.

I do agree though, I think it was the first diesel hot hatch.

An interesting car but if you had to buy one today why would you buy one instead of grabbing the Megane RS175 apart from the Auris being easier to find.
